Popping with Parental Pleasure over our Pretty Principal's Pride Pupil

So Emma won a major award today! She was nominated by her kindergarten teacher to win a Principal's Pride prize at school (in the category of "Caring"), along with about a dozen other kids from grades K-3. You can view the ceremony below. Do excuse the bragging, but we're awfully proud of our little girl.

Way to go Emma! And her teachers are right - she IS caring! Seriously, I've been impressed with that special trait in Emma all along. I think she would be a good Doctor or Nurse - she is caring AND practical. Last week in La Grande when Denny and Emma were in the swimming pool, I was walking along the edge of the pool next to the two of you as you went around the the pool hand-over-hand, and I said, "I hope I don't fall in!" Emma replied, "well maybe you should move back a little from the edge Aunt Barbie..."

yes, caring and practical!

Great video. Congratulations, Emma.
She is also good at sharing. Give her a pack of gum and she will immediately start sharing it with everyone. She's quite a gal. Go ahead and brag.

Oh, now is this just as charming as charming can be??? Not only does she win a "caring" award, but she is self deprecating about the whole thing! I just want to snatch her up, hug her huge and then gobble her up.
