Bottle-nosed Dolphin

Emma came home with an assignment last month to make a costume of any Arctic sea creature and wear it to school today for their program. The number one rule was that it had to be made out of things lying around the house.

Lucky for Em, her mother is very creative. The animal (mammal?) chosen by Emma was the "Bottle-nosed Dolphin." No mere penguins for my little girl. How many of you happen to have the makings of a bottle-nosed dolphin outfit laying about the homestead? Apparently, we did.

If you look closely near the back on the right side, you will see Emma, fins and all, singing away. Nice photography Mama! Ok then.

Love it! I like that the bottle nose was an actual bottle. And I'm a little suspicious that ALL those costumes on display were created with stuff lying around the house, unless the kids' parents are named "JoAnn" and "Michael" :-).

Who's the choreographer that put that bottle-nosed dolphin in the back row? The stars are supposed to be in the FRONT row.
